Our Mission

Started in 2010 with the help of Volunteers Initiative Nepal, the Jitpurphedi Women's Agricultural Cooperative seeks to unite and empower women in Jitpurphedi Nepal through agriculture and entrepreneurship. The JitpurPhedi Women's Agriculture  cooperative provides loans for women to start and expand agricultural and business projects. They may take out loans to develop their farms, purchase livestock, or to start a small business.   Qualities of leadership, entrepreneurship, and empowerment are promoted as the women's projects develop and are given a platform to actively participate in their communities, paving the way for a strong future for themselves and their families. Over 1000 women directly benefit by saving, micro credit, education & lifeskills and entrepreneurship development.
